Vineyard description: This vineyard owes more than just its signature views to Seneca Lake, as the rootstock comes from Hermann Wiemer, one of the area’s most prominent Riesling producers. With plantings extending to the shore, the moderating effects of the 600-foot deep lake create a micro-climate that generates superb riesling grapes in this this cool-climate AVA.

Winemaking Info: Grape picked early October and frozen in cold storage. Crop has been pressed frozen with our basket press followed by cold temperature fermentation (3 months), no malo-lactic fermentation.

Wine Description: Exuberant aromas of stone fruit (pear, apricot) touch of honey, bright mouth feel with a rich, syrup finish (16% residual sugar).

Aging Capacity: 5 to 7 years.

Food Pairing: To be served chilled by itself, or to complement a dessert dish.

Winemaking Info: 32 day fermentation in stainless steel tank followed by aging on fine lees. No Malo lactic Fermentation.

Aging Capacity: 3 to 5 years.

Food Pairing: Perfect for shellfish (oysters) or some fatty white fish (monk, cod, etc.)
